Although not much has changed with Brother’s Big Bro and Mr Wooden for the new year, their updated colors caught our attention. Both new colors will be available to order as of tomorrow, January 31st, for immediate shipping. Find a quick refreshed on both versatile platforms below.

Designed to take riders well beyond the beaten track, the Brother Big Bro is the brand’s all-purpose adventure platform. It’ll accommodate 27.5 x 3″ or 29 x 2.6″ tires and sports tons of mounts for bottles/racks, comes with a 100mm suspension-corrected rigid fork, hand as replaceable dropouts (including a Rohloff-specific option), Boost spacing, and thru-axles. Cobalt blue is the latest color offering, and it’ll be offered alongside the existing yellow and woodland brown options. Framesets cost £799 with UK VAT.

The brand’s newest model (and my personal favorite), the Mr Wooden is a refreshing steel frameset designed around 650B wheels that sports rim brakes, quick-release axles, a low-mid trail fork, and is begging to be built up from the parts bin. It can be a modern randonneur, a retro gravel bike, or a tourer, and it’ll clear up to a 650b x 50mm tire. As Brother describes it, the Mr Wooden is “a middle finger to the throwaway culture we live in today.” It has classic styling but still packs in a handful of modern touches like a 1 1/8″ threadless headset and ED coating for corrosion resistance. The metallic lilac is a lovely update to the original green, and framesets cost £699 including UK VAT.
